Episode 4 is One Heck of a Crazy Meeting

Have you ever been in an absolutely terrible meeting? According to Forbes, 70% of all meetings are a waste of time.

That’s probably because your employees and managers have never been taught how to have productive meetings, and that’s why it’s the topic of Episode 4: Meeting Madness.

A bad meeting wastes people’s time and triggers a range of emotions, including boredom, anger, frustration, and stress. Additional time is often wasted emotionally recovering from the bad meeting and making mistakes because the meeting poorly communicated information.

This episode starts with participants acting more like they’re at a party than gathering to accomplish something. The story moves on to explain simple ways to bring sanity, clarity, and productivity back to meetings for business, groups, families, and even between two individuals.

Behind the Episode

This episode is inspired by dozens of unproductive meetings we have observed. One was a meeting in which a VP was answering emails and messaging for the first 45-minutes and then tried to comment. Her contribution was odd, had no value, and was not consistent with the discussion because she hadn’t been paying attention.

A month later she was fired.

We don’t want this to happen to you or any one of your employees.
